In India there are many Polytechnic and technical institutions which has been imparting Diploma education. There are many government and private technical institution which are running several diploma courses. Diploma courses are being imparted for different stream of engineering such as Electrical, Mechanical,   Electronics & Communication, Civil and Computer Science. Besides these streams there are also many fields in which diploma courses are provided.
