GATE Results 2016: The GATE 2016 Committee authority has decided that GATE 2016 Results will be announced on March 19, 2016 at 17:00 hours and will be available on the GATE Online Application Website. The Candidates who have appeared in the examination on its schedule date between 30th January 2016 and 7th February 2016 can access their GATE 2016 Results by entering their registration number and other details.After the declaration of Results, qualified candidates can download their GATE 2016 Score Card for the paper (for which he/she has taken the examination). The GATE 2016 score cards can be downloaded between March 27, 2016 to May 29, 2016 and for that the candidate should access the GOAPS portal. We also know that GATE 2016 score is valid for THREE YEARS from the date of announcement of the Results.

GATE is a short form of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. GATE is an all India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of the candidates in various undergraduate subjects in Engineering, Technology, Architecture and post-graduate level subjects in Science. The GATE score of a candidate reflects a relative performance level in a particular subject in the examination across several years. The score is used for admissions to post-graduate programs M.
