UPSEE Counselling Schedule 2016 : The Counselling of UPSEE 2016 will start after the announcement of UPSEE Results 2016. UPSEE Counselling Schedule 2016 or Date

Uttar Pradesh Technical University has been imparting various technical degree and diploma courses of different stream. These streams are Engineering, Architecture, Fashion & designing, Management, Computer Science & Biotechnology etc. Every year a large number of students are taken addmission in these courses in the different affiliated institution of the UPTU. The students will be taken admission this year through the counselling procedure  to various courses offered by the government affiliated institutions and private institutions affiliated to UPTU, Lucknow. The counselling will be conducted  for only those students who have successfully  qualify the UPSEE 2016. The admission will also be done for the 20% seats in private institutions for the rank holder of JEE-Main for B.Tech programme and C-MAT for an MBA programme.

All the candidates who are applying for the UG courses must have passed HSC or its equivalent examination from a government recognition board. For  Post graduate courses the candidates must have passed graduation or its equivalent from a government recognition university. The candidates will first appear the UPSEE 2016 or JEE-Main 2016 entrance examination for B.Tech programme or C-MAT for MBA programme. After perceiving  valid score in the written examinations with minimum required qualifying marks the candidates will be called for UPTU counselling 2016.

Counselling Schedule, Process and Counselling  Letter:

UPSEE counselling will be held in the month of July 2016. After qualifying for UPSEE or equivalent examination, students can get the counselling letter  from the department  via post or through the email.

UPTU Counselling Process:

The students will have to go through the three steps of counselling.

1. Documents Verification

The sum of rupees 500/- in favour of UPSEE  will have to be deposited  via bank draft as a counselling fee before starting the verification process. The candidates will have to bring the original documents and a set of photocopy of UPTU admit card, counselling letter, bank draft, school certificates & mark sheet, rank card or scorecard, original degree or provisional certificate (In case of pursuing graduation), caste certificate, medical certificate, 4-6 passport size photograph, domicile certificate and character certificate at the verification centre. On the completion of verification, the candidates must be ensured to get the OTP (One Time Password) for the next step of counselling.

2. Choice of Institutions

The candidates will have to make them aware about all courses and institutions before filling the choice of courses and institutions in counseling form. There would be an option given to all candidates to choose an order of preference about the institutions and courses. The candidates having higher rank will be considered first for the allotment of seats as per their first choice.

3. Confirmation of Seats

The seat allotment process would be based on the preference and merit rank of the candidates. After getting the seats, the candidates will be required to submit the confirmation fees within the given period. In case of not submitting the confirmation fees, the candidature will be considered as cancelled by assuming that the candidate is not interested in retaining the allotted seat and the seat would be allotted to the next interested rank holder.
